Jakarta (8/9) – Introduced since two years ago, lineup of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing models from the GR Supra as sports car up to the Raize GR Sport as sporty car has received great appreciation from customers in Indonesia. Even, the GR Yaris as sports car, which is available in limited quantities, also received a positive response from many customers. Committed to fulfill the high level of customer interest in vehicles with a sporty character, PT Toyota Astra Motor has expanded the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing lineup in Indonesia by introducing four (4) GR Sport models at once, namely Rush GR Sport, Fortuner GR Sport, Yaris GR Sport, Agya GR Sport, and one (1) GR model that is developed by the Indonesian, namely Veloz GR Limited.

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing believe that the road is the greatest teacher that help honing Toyota’s engineer skill and instinct to build ever-better cars. Officially established in 2015, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing began to develop several Toyota products to become a new line-up, namely GR (GAZOO Racing).
The GR Supra is the first sports car developed directly by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing. Since its first global launch in 2019, GR Supra has been able to attract the attention and interest of many customers from all around the world, including Indonesia. For this reason, in the same year, Toyota presented the GR Supra in Indonesia and immediately received high appreciation from customers.
Seeing the positive reception that customers gave to the GR Supra, at the beginning of 2021 Toyota presented the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing sporty car, namely the Raize GR Sport. Similar to the GR Supra, as the first GR Sport in Indonesia, the Raize GR Sport also immediately received great enthusiasm from customers
Five additional new models of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing provide customers with more choices of sporty cars
Understanding that customers in Indonesia have an interest in products with a strong sporty character, Toyota expands the choice for customers by presenting products equipped with the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing motorsport DNA, namely Rush GR Sport, Fortuner GR Sport, Yaris GR Sport, Agya GR Sport, and Veloz GR Limited. With the presence of products in these various segments, in total there are seven (7) line-ups of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing products in Indonesia.
As a tough SUV that was developed to provide comfort, the Rush GR Sport not only comes with a more sporty exterior appearance, but is also equipped with several improvements aimed at providing more comfortable driving experience.
Similar to the Rush GR Sport, the Fortuner GR Sport not only has a more sporty appearance and design but is also equipped with a new feature. This 7-seater tough SUV that can be relied on in all fields is now equipped with the New Adaptable Auto A/C with Dual Zone feature.
In addition to the SUV segment, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing’s motorsport DNA is extended to the Hatchback segment through the Yaris and Agya. As hatchbacks that are in demand by many customers in Indonesia and also victorious in the arena of national motorsport championships, both in slalom and touring championships, the Yaris GR Sport and Agya GR Sport are now appear with a stronger sporty aura thanks to the touch of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing’s motorsport
DNA design.
It doesn’t stop there, understanding the needs of customers in Indonesia for a 7-seater MPV with a sporty character, the motorsport DNA of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing is also applied to the MPV segment through Veloz GR Limited. Interestingly, Veloz GR Limited is available in very limited quantities and is exclusively presented to customers in Indonesia.
